I never thought I’d end up writing this but here I am. Not long ago, I got totally consumed in online games –
CS:GO. I wanted to dominate, and I didn’t want to rely on skill alone.
One evening, I stumbled across a forum thread talking about scripts.
At first I laughed it off, but the more screenshots I saw, the more
it felt like a tempting escape.
People were bragging showing how they climbed from low ranks to high ones in days.
It looked too good to be true. And of course, it was too good to be true.
To be honest, I actually got close to buying something.
One guy tried to explain the “features” to me.
That’s when it hit me.
I found threads from players who lost their accounts.
Some even wrote how their PCs got infected.
That was my wake-up call.
Instead of cheating, I deleted the messages and focused on improving the legitimate way.
Now, when I see people chasing cheats, I just think:
it’s never worth it. Just learn from my almost-mistake. -
